How monthly plans work

Monthly plans are offered at locations with long-term guests. You subscribe once, your card is charged each period, and your devices stay online without signing in again.

Not every location offers monthly plans. The plans available where you're staying are shown on the sign-in page.

Starting a plan

Connect to the WiFi, choose the monthly plan on the sign-in page, and pay by card. You'll get an access code and your device is online straight away. See Get connected.

Renewal

Your next renewal date is on your account page.

If a payment fails

Cards expire and banks decline things. If a renewal doesn't go through:

  1. You stay online for about a day while the card is retried.
  2. Your account page shows Payment failed, and Stripe, our payment processor, emails you.
  3. If it's still unpaid after that, your devices go offline.

To fix it, update your card. Once the payment goes through, your devices come back within about a minute. You keep the same account, access code and devices.

Leaving

A monthly plan keeps renewing until you cancel it, even after you've left the property. Cancel before your next renewal date. See Change your card or cancel.
