Get connected

Joining takes about a minute: connect to the network, choose a plan or enter a code, and you're online.

Join the network and sign in

1. Open WiFi settings on your device and connect to Fireside WiFi (or the network name posted at your location).
2. A sign-in page should open by itself within a few seconds. If it doesn't, open your browser and visit any website that starts with http://, such as http://neverssl.com.
3. Pick a plan and pay by card, or tap Already have a code? and enter your access code.
4. When you see You're connected!, you're online. The window closes on its own.

Your access code

After you pay, the page shows an 8-character access code, like AB3X7K9M. Screenshot it or write it down. It's how you:

• sign in on a second phone, tablet or laptop,
• get back in if your device forgets the network, and
• open your account page from a device we don't recognise.

The device you paid on is remembered, so it reconnects by itself whenever you rejoin the WiFi. You won't need the code again on that device.

Add another phone, tablet or laptop

1. Connect the new device to the same WiFi network.
2. On the sign-in page, tap Already have a code?
3. Enter your access code and tap Connect.

Each plan allows a set number of devices online at the same time, shown on the plan when you buy it. If you see a message that the maximum number of devices is already connected, disconnect one you're not using or remove it from your account.
