Everything you need to know before you connect.
Look for the "Fireside WiFi" network on your device's WiFi list and connect to it like any normal network. Once connected, open a browser and you'll be redirected to our portal where you can pick a plan and pay.
If the portal doesn't open automatically, try opening any website in your browser — this should trigger the redirect to our portal.
No account required. Just connect, pick a plan, and pay. Your session is tied to your device automatically.
Each plan covers 1 device. If you need connectivity on another device, you'll need to purchase a separate pass.
Each pass is tied to one device, so sharing a single pass isn't possible. The person you want to share with would need to purchase their own pass at the portal.
Speeds vary depending on location, how many users are connected, and satellite conditions — but you can generally expect enough for video calls, standard-definition streaming, and regular browsing.
We use high-quality satellite or cellular backhaul and deploy enterprise-grade access points, so performance is significantly better than typical campground WiFi.
Yes. Standard-definition video streaming works well. 4K streaming is possible but will use your data allowance quickly and may affect other users on the network — so we ask that you be mindful during peak hours.
We're in remote outdoor locations, so occasional interruptions can happen due to weather, satellite outages, or power issues. We don't guarantee uptime.
If you experience a persistent issue, email us at [email protected] and we'll do our best to help and make it right.
Fireside WiFi is a shared public network. We recommend using a VPN for any work-related activity, banking, or anything involving sensitive information. Standard HTTPS sites are encrypted end-to-end regardless, so everyday browsing is generally fine.
We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover) through Stripe. Apple Pay and Google Pay are also supported on compatible devices.
We handle refund requests on a case-by-case basis. If the service was genuinely unavailable or severely degraded during your paid session, reach out to us at [email protected] and we'll work something out.
When you hit your data limit, your session ends and you'll be redirected back to the portal. Simply purchase a new pass to reconnect.
Yes — your pass is valid for the full duration (2 hours, 24 hours, etc.) from the time of purchase, whether you're connected or not. If you're on a Day Pass and leave camp for a few hours, the clock is still running.
No. We log connection metadata (device ID, timestamps, bandwidth usage) for network management purposes, but we do not monitor, log, or record the websites you visit or any content you transmit.
See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Yes, VPN use is fully supported and actually encouraged if you're handling sensitive data. Most major VPN services work without any special configuration.
