Fireside WiFi, LLC ("Fireside WiFi," "we," "our," or "us") provides wireless internet access at select remote outdoor locations, including campgrounds, trailheads, and recreational areas. This Privacy Policy applies to all users of the Fireside WiFi network and the website at firesidewifi.com.
We collect limited information necessary to provide and improve our Service. Here is exactly what we collect and why:

Separately from the WiFi network, our website offers a contact form for partnership, installation, and general inquiries. When you submit it, we collect the information you choose to give us: the type of service you're interested in, your name, your email address, and optionally your phone number, property location, and whatever details you include in your message.
We use this information only to respond to your inquiry and, if you go on to become a customer, to plan and deliver the service you asked about. We do not use it for marketing, and we do not sell or trade it.
Submissions are collected and stored by Netlify, which hosts this website, and are forwarded to us by email.
To protect the form from automated abuse, we use Google reCAPTCHA. reCAPTCHA collects hardware and software information, such as device and application data, and sends it to Google to determine whether you are a human. This use is subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. reCAPTCHA runs only on our contact page; it is not present on the WiFi captive portal.
Our website also uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site: which pages are viewed, how visitors arrive, and general (city-level) location derived from your IP address. Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish visitors and sends usage data to Google, subject to Google's Privacy Policy. We have disabled the optional data sharing settings that would let this data be used to improve other Google products. We use these statistics only to understand and improve our website. Analytics runs on our website only, not on the WiFi captive portal, and it tells us nothing about what you do on the internet while connected to Fireside WiFi.

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we collect. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. The Fireside WiFi network is a shared, public wireless network, and we cannot guarantee the security of data you transmit over it.
We strongly recommend using a VPN and ensuring websites you visit use HTTPS encryption when connected to any public WiFi network, including ours.
We retain connection and usage data for 90 days, after which it is automatically deleted. Email addresses are retained until you request removal. Payment records are retained as required for tax and legal compliance.
Contact form submissions are retained for as long as needed to handle your inquiry and any resulting work, and are deleted on request.
